Atletico Mardid fans blame morata for weekend lose, their first in 19 matches

Fans have blamed the Alvaro Morata effect after Atletico Madrid suffered their first defeat in 19 LA liga matches.

 The Chelsea forward returned to his boyhood club on an 18 month loan deal in the transfer window last month.

Despite a promising start to his career in the premier league Morata has had a disappointing year with the London club, falling out of favour under manager Maurizio Sarii

 On Sunday he made his debut for his new side but real betis dented Atletico's title hopes with 1 - 0 wins

 Diego Simeon's side could have closed the gap on league leaders Barcelona to three points but but instead lost for the first time in 19 Matches
     Supporters took to Twitter to explain that the defeat was down to the Morata effect
